*Job Title: Network Systems Admin IILocation : Jacksonville, FLDuration : 9 month contractThe Opportunity *This position is an *i*ntermediate level engineering position responsible for participating in the design, implementation, and validation of infrastructure hardware and software with a focus on enterprise technologies This position will work closely with the Systems Engineer - Senior, Systems Engineering team and Enterprise Architecture group to architect, design, implement and support the organization’s systems, while ensuring high levels of performance and system availability This position will also serve as an elevated support contact for Citizens infrastructure hardware and software *Required:* 5 or more years of experience administering various systems and applications 3 years’ experience working as an intermediate level Network Administrator / Network Engineer or other Network related discipline in a medium to large sized enterprise Current certification in appropriate vertical (CCNA/CCNP/MCSE, etc.) 6 months recent experience working in a Data Center enterprise environment 6 months recent experience working with Cisco Nexus Platforms 1 year recent experience working with MPLS connectivity (design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting) Intermediate understanding of common routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) Intermediate understanding of QoS (LAN / WAN) Intermediate understanding of server load balancing Intermediate understanding of Network Security Understanding of VoIP (protocols / CODEC’s, design, implementation, troubleshooting) Requires the ability for overnight travel, up to 25% Requires the ability to be on call according to scheduled rotations Ability to be on call and support a 24 hour/ day and 7 day/ week operations environment as needed *Preferred:* Bachelor’s degree 6 months recent experience working with enterprise wireless deployment (LWAPP) 6 months recent experience administering VPN connectivity 6 months recent experience administering F5 appliances 6 Months recent experience administering Checkpoint or Cisco firewall appliances Current mid-level certification in any of the following: Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, Wireless (LWAPP) Knowledge and understanding of ITIL, COBIT, and/or MOF Knowledge of formal Change Management, Configuration Management and Release Management Knowledge and understanding of software development environments and tools.
