SAS developer Bachelor degree or 3 years of relevant business experience and demonstrated programming aptitude. Exceptional written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills Experience in a position communicating with internal and external customers Experience in a position requiring problem solving and independent thinking Experience managing multiple projects with various priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access Experience with database query tools (i.e. Crystal, SQL, etc.) Experience working with trend analyses & interpretation preferred Exposure to mathematics/statistical analysis in a position or classroom setting is preferred Experience with SAS BI tools (Enterprise Guide, OLAP cubes, Stored Process Server, Web Report Studio, etc.) is preferred Experience in Healthcare/Insurance field is preferred A bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, Healthcare, or related field is desired Experience using workflow or business process tools is desired Working knowledge of JAVA and J2EE technologies is preferred Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) for WebSphere is a plus Experience working in a Unix server environment a plus Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing system failures is a plus Network/Socket programming experience is a plus Experience monitoring and troubleshooting scheduled SAS jobs is preferred. Security configuration - User role and permission configurations for Enterprise Guide and for server-level access is much desired.
