Must Haves (ranked in level of importance):
• Expert skills- Oracle PL-SQL development and relational databases
• Very strong skills- object oriented technologies and MVC frameworks
• Very strong skills - Java-based web technologies including JSF,
Hibernate, Spring, AJAX, Apache Tomcat, Ant, Maven
• Good skills- Linux and related scripting languages (i.e. PERL, Python)
• Some experience with PowerBuilder, SQL Server, C# and ASP.NET is
beneficial
• Experience supporting business critical applications
Plus skills:
Insurance or financial services experience (supporting business
critical applications)
Personal:
Problem-solver, logical thinker, EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION (written
and verbal), independent worker
Must be customer-focused at all times
