POSITION SUMMARY:
Effectively and professionally communicate strategy, design, scope, and
development/delivery time for each assigned project.
Partner with business resources on the design, development and delivery of
procedures, instruction manuals, online help, and job aides for training
initiatives relating to software applications, processes, and procedures.
Ensure smooth, timely editorial review process with SMEs to ensure final
approvals are obtained and aligned with deadlines.
Design and develop business and system process documentation using defined
standards and best practices.
Effectively communicate (both written and verbal) at varied levels within
the organization (SMEs to executives).
Convert complex subject matter into concise, accessible, creative Web
content using applicable authoring tool.
Peer review and approve edits or changes made to material prepared by other
Technical Writers.
Establish and maintain documentation standards and templates to continually
improve the process.
Effectively and successfully manage multiple projects to achieve project
goals and meet deadlines.
Has strong interpersonal skills, builds strong relationships with the team
as well as the business, is flexible/open-minded, negotiates effectively.
Experience:
Experience using authoring tools such as Adobe RoboHelp or MadCap Flare
