Job Description
§ Having more than 7 years of hands on experience on SAP BO XI
R2/R3.1.
§ Demonstrated experience with Business or Data Analysis using Business
Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 (Web Intelligence, Universe Builder, InfoView,
CMC Scheduler, Data Services/Data Integrator)
§ Development experience in building complex WEBI, Deski Reports, Time
based complex filter conditions, Compound reports, Flexible Ad hoc
reporting methodologies and Scheduling
§ Strong data analysis skills and experience with data management and
data processing
§ Having knowledge of BO 4.0 will be an added advantage.
§ Should have exposure on creating universe design and reports
creations.
§ Can work independently with less guidance to meet day to day
deliverables.
§ Excellent written & oral communication skills, supporting ability.
§ Good exposure of SQL PL/SQL, Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and Oracle
10g.
§ Should aware of SAP LCM and Job servers.
§ Knowledge on DW concepts data modeling, Reporting.
§ Should have good knowledge of query optimizations and performance
tuning.
§ Capable of understanding business requirements and translating into
technical requirements and design.
§ Worked closely with Business Users during Requirement Gathering,
Designing, Development and Testing Phases.
§ Should aware of DEV/TEST/OAT/ PROD env and migration methods.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
- Must be able to create Business Objects documents, from minimal
specifications and loosely defined requirements.
- Must be able to follow best practices regarding version control and
testing specifications.
- Must be able to write free-hand SQL statements, and use such
statements to validate reports against the database.
- Querying and validating data utilizing a strong, fundamental
understanding of Database Concepts including Queries, Nested Queries,
Views, Joins, Null, etc.
- Identify key insights & ensure integrity, timing, and accuracy of
results.
- Address report issues, discrepancies, optimization and other risks
and concerns.
