Role: Business Analyst (Financial)
Location: Midtown NYC (LOCAL + EAD/GC or Citizens ONLY)
Duration: 6+ Months
Business Analyst to work with their front office users and assist them in
defining any reports and/or "small" applications they need. The role may
offer opportunity for a permanent position in the future.
*Responsibilities:*
- Working with front office non-technical users and defining their
requirements.
- Writing BRDs and technical requirements.
- Responsibilities in managing these projects as the client resources
allow them to be developed.
- Must be able to contribute significantly to any design and refactoring
discussions.
- Must be able to articulate problems and solutions in a concise manner.
*Skills Required:*
- 5-7 years of experience creating business and technical requirements
with at least 3 years of strong fluency within Corporate/Commercial Banking.
- A proven track record of dealing successfully with demanding customers
and delivering top-notch products.
- Should be comfortable across a wide variety of technical disciplines
and show a willingness to embrace different technologies including:
- Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SharePoint API
- Workflow tools
- Experience in SharePoint Designer, page designs and workflow
customizations
- Experience with Active Directory & SQL Server
- SQL/PL SQL database experience (ideally Oracle)
- System design and architecture
- Development tools like Visual Studio & Toad
- College Degree preferably in Finance or Computer Science.
*Skills Desired:*
- Highly self-motivated with excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and
collaborative skills.
- Ability to change in an ever-evolving industry.
- Must be highly energetic, detail-orientated, and extremely proactive.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment.
- A hunger and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
and to work as a member of a geographically distributed project team.
