The position will require broad cutting edge technology, which including, but not limited to Java/JEE, web services, Spring/Hibernate, Enterprise service bus and other integration technologies. The responsibilities for this individual is to play solution architect role to perform full life-cycle activities in support of multiple projects identified by the development director which will include but not limited to: 1. Work on the architecture approach, architecture design and prototypes for the project 2. Work on the technology/tool evaluation, proof of concept and prototypes to support architecture decision 3. Work with SMEs from applications area on the technical analysis to support architecture and technical design 4. Work with project and development managers to define the scope and develop plan for the architecture and other technical deliverables related to the project *Required Skills:* This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and more than 10 years professional software development experience in object-oriented language, including minimum of 6 years’ experience with *Java and JEE and 3 years’ experience with the architecture design*. Specific requirements include, but not limited to: *Must to have:* - Proven strong technical architecture design background - Strong background on Java/JEE, and other internet/web technology - Strong on industry standard open source frameworks, such as Spring framework, Hibernate, myBatis, - Good experience on SOA, enterprise service bus, process integration, Spring Integration - Strong background on Portals and Web Services technology, including both SOAP and RESTful web services. - Solid understanding on general security concepts, authentication, authorization, SSO, SAML, OAuth, digital certificate, LDAP, RBAC, WS- security. - Strong background on Web application design and development - Excellent communication and inter-person skill set *A big plus to have:* - Strong hands on experience with UML - Excellent object oriented analysis and design patterns/techniques - Mobile development experience - Self-starter and motivated *Software & Tools:* UML, IBM RAD/RSA, DB2, IBM WebSphere, Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, LDAP, DataPower.
