The position will be responsible for the design, development, and automation of our current resource planning scheduler. Applicant should be a team player with willingness to learn and follow technical direction. *SKILL SET :* An experienced web/windows/database developer is needed to support multiple global web applications, sponsored by a variety of different business groups on the firm's intranet. Work assignments include development of new applications as well as enhancements and migration of existing applications. The ideal candidate would have very strong database and web development skills (ASP, C#, VB.NET and Javascript, Ajax, JSON, XML, MS SQL server 2008, ADO) with extensive experience in all facets of web application development (front-end to back-end), able to work either independently or as part of a small team. This person must be self-motivated, attentive to details, and a quick learner *REQUIRED: (2+ years)* ASP.Net, Windows Forms C# SQL Server back end *PREFERRED:* Webservices development (not required) Team Lead capabilities *ADDT'L:* Developing .NET applications in C#, specifically with ASP.NET/MVC. Hands on experience with Excel macros Solid background with JavaScript, Ajax and CSS is highly preferred. Exposure to a JavaScript library such as jQuery is highly preferred. Exposure to Agile disciplines, especially Scrum, is a plus. Development with Sharepoint is a plus. Hands on experience with TFS is a plus.
