*Job Title: WebSphere Systems Engineer* *Location: Columbus, Ohio* *Duration: 6+months * *Start: ASAP* *Required Skills:* · Assure operational health of the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) in all environments · 5 to 7 years of experience required in the installation, configuration, performance & tuning, maintenance, and upgrading of IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere MQ, and DataPower technologies · Solid Java coding skills required · Excellent verbal, written communications skills required · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required · Development and platform architecture experience highly desired *Specific Application Experience:* · 5 to 7 years’ experience relative to the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere MQ, and DataPower technologies that underpin CAS’s Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platform · Solid Java coding skills required · Excellent verbal, written communications skills required · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required · Development and platform architecture experience highly desired *Tasks to be Assigned:* · Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere MQ, and DataPower technologies that underpin CAS’s ESB platform · Work with development and operations teams to make certain the ESB platform supports connectivity and data transformation needs of the organization · Perform service support through the day-to-day operation of IT services · Perform service management through the fulfillment of complex service requests · Perform incident and problem management so as to restore ESB functionality and performance following an incident and find/fix root causes of such service disrupting events · Perform release and change management using standardized methods and procedures to ensure the integrity of productionized systems through the release and change processes · Perform configuration management to provide a logical model of the IT infrastructure for all configuration items in existence · Participate as a team member of projects of all sizes.
