Duration: 6-12 Months
*Required background:*
The intent is to convert all Catia V4 data to NX-CAD and have the quality
of that conversion validated and approved by Sept 30th . This is a fairly
large conversion project with a good size team.
Task 1 – Finish fine-tuning the interactive V4MOTIGES application to
improve the IGES flavoring required to get complete and accurate NX
Drawings that match the original Catia V4 drawings.
Add Tool Design and Development Engineer Home Directories to the search
options.
Run utility with random samples collected prior to execution of this SOW to
improve results.
Fine tune IGES Flavoring on use cases provided by end users (anomalies
discovered after Task 1 is released to Honeywell Users)
Task 2 – Further fine tune the application to improve the IGES flavoring
with new samples
Run utility with random samples to verify anomalies have been resolved.
Task 3 – Develop and test a batch process to mass translate the Catia V4
CAD data into IGES.
Task 4 – Run the Catia to IGES batch process and transfer the resulting
IGES data from the UNIX file system to a Windows Server File Share
Once the conversion has been completed, there will be about an additional 3
months of testing and support
