and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is *3 - 6 months Contract* Position based in *Chicago,IL*
*Job Title: PeopleSoft Application Administration Responsibilities *
*Location: Chicago, IL*
*Duration: **6 months*
*Applies advanced systems/infrastructure concepts to*:
• Define, design, implement and document our complex PeopleSoft
Application.
• Implement GIS recommended security protocols to both internal and
externally facing PeopleSoft application.
• Implements highly complex system enhancements (software and
hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the
system.
• Develops complex monitoring/alert plan to ensure systems are highly
available.
• Manages capacity for central servers in coordination with Database,
System and Network Administrators
• Make recommendations for the identified security vulnerabilities
• Primary responsibility for scheduling and implementing PeopleTools
upgrades and perform the application maintenance
• Provide training to our internal support group with automated steps
to restart the application
• Perform code base migrations
*Application Support *
• Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports operating
systems, databases, utilities and Internet/intranet-related tools.
• Provides off hour support when applying OS and database patches
*Required Experience*
• Working knowledge on externally facing internet architecture
• Working knowledge on integrating Peoplesoft with other identity
management systems using SAML
*Additional experience as a plus*
• Experience working with Hyperion financial management
