Responsibilities/Job Tasks
Responsible for participating in all aspects of the software development
lifecycle including design, architecture, development, quality assurance,
support, and maintenance.
Required Qualities
Innovative and creative
Previous software development experience, commercial or academic
Willing to work directly with customers and partners
Interest in all aspects of a software development projects (design, coding,
testing, documentation, build system, QA)
Understands the impact of software design on existing code base
Ensures that code adheres to software development best practices
Must be able to travel by air for customer implementations
Technical Skills
*Expertise in Javascript and/or Python, and familiarity with other
languagesUI/UX web design – desktop and responsive*
HTML5
Network understanding (HTTP, TCP/IP, WiFi)
Understanding of web server technology (Apache, Nginx, or IIS)
Ability to analyze and tune applications for performance
Strong architecture and design skills for web based and client-server
software applications
Experience with interfacing applications with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL
Server, or MySQL)
Strong problem solving skills
Wide range of platform experience including Windows and Linux, or has a
strong desire to learn Linux
Understanding of browser software (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
Experience in building scalable server applications
