Duration:-6+ Month Exp.:- 8 – 10 Years ================================= *JOB DESCRIPTION:-* *TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:* · Business objects 3.1,4.0 reports and Universe Administration · BO Server administration · SQL/PLSQL *ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Define and prepare advanced data delivery designs and provide development support to leverage technology investments to support business needs · Provide estimates for Report/Universe development · Understand and identify the correct resources to help define and validate both requirements and specifications · Collaborate with the business to gather and define the business requirements, business definitions, process flows, dashboard design, and report design to create business intelligence solutions · Publish, distribute, and ensure sign-off of the requirements documents and controls all changes through a formalized change request process · Perform data analysis and data profiling against source systems and data warehouse · Write complex SQL/PL SQL Queries · Design, develop and unit test Universes, Reports and Dashboards · Configure the Crystal Reports job server to process report objects and generate report instances · Configure the List of Values (LOV) job server to populate design patterns (value objects) with data/values retrieved from databases; schedule objects with business calendars to create reports as required · Configure and maintain Business Objects Servers in development Environment · Provide training and support to business users to promote understanding of Business Intelligence 3.1, 4.0 & 4.1 environment and usage of Business Intelligence 3.1,4.0 & 4.1 Web Intelligence reports, Crystal reports, and BI Launch pad tools and features · Create and manage enterprise documentation, change controls, and communicate with clients and PM to clarify, translate, and validate requirements · Test solutions to validate whether requirements have been met; develop test plans, test scripts, and test conditions based on the business and system requirements · Coordinate and demo prototype reviews and validate that solutions meet requirements and review/fine tune report deliverables; collaborate with Client Subject Matter Experts (SME)’s to develop and implement the solution and assist with deployment activities · Provide end-user support in post-deployment phases; assess and evaluate all feedback to ensure that the requirements necessary to correct issues are addressed. =============================== *In case you are not looking for the change at this point of time please refer your colleagues, Friends etc.* *Regards* *Deepak* *United Software Group Inc.* 565 Metro Place S.
