*SQL DBA role - Must be local to MNMounds View, MN6+ Month ContractRate:
$35-40/Hour MaxOnly accepting candidates local to MN only on this one*
*SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS:*
Troubleshoot and tune database environment and define performance
thresholds.
Participate in 24x7 production on-call rotation.
Performance tuning of databases and code.
Perform quality control audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Development of some Transact-SQL and PowerShell scripts. •
Experience with various SQL Server products including SQL Server Enterprise
Manager and SQL Profiler
Experience with SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery tools
and technologies
Experience with performance monitoring, alerting and automation.
Practical knowledge RDBMS concepts and architecture
Experience with implementation and support of database name resolution
solutions
Analytical problem solving skills
Prioritization skills
