8-9 years Java development experience
The position requires strong Java based enterprise development background
with experience encompassing the full software development life-cycle.
Java/J2EE: Core Java, Spring 3.0, collections
Hands on experience working with Collections and good understanding of
performance implication of different collection objects.
Must have experience using at least one ORM tool (Any ORM - Hibernate,
ibatis, torque)
SDLC: Has worked in an iterative or agile methodology of software
development.
Preferred Skills –
Database: IBM DB2 UDB (stored procedures, triggers etc)
Solid understanding of multi-threading and has experience developing
multi-threaded applications.
Sound understanding of application architecture, design patterns and good
understanding of how to build enterprise applications.
Working knowledge of:
Linux/Unix
SVN
Shell scripting
Maven
*Nice to have:But Not Required*
Autosys
DRules or any rules engine
XML: Schemas/DTD, DOM XSL, XSLT
