Employment Type: Contract Client: HP Enterprise Services, LLC City: Roseville State: CA Status: *Accepting Candidates* Description: *HOT-- had 2 interview requests. 1 was gone. other did it last night and did not have the depth of tech experience needed.* Weblogic Administrator Roseville, CA 12 months Job Description The Middleware Administrator applies deep technical expertise in WebLogic and other middleware technologies, to the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of the client middleware infrastructure. *Job Responsibilities* • Troubleshoots and resolves middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments. • Performs deployments of custom and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) code/software. • Installs, configures, and manages clustered middleware applications located in HP Data Centers, working with internal service groups as required to ensure system availability and uptime meet project requirements. • Develops scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities. • Analyzes monitoring results to produce and implement recommendations for improving performance and operational efficiency of middleware components. • Works with Architects on issues related to middleware infrastructure design and architecture, including clustering and scalability, and assists with Proof Of Concept testing. • Works with peers within and beyond the Middleware team to define and characterize complex technology or process problems and develop & implement new solutions. • As needed, assists with the development of white papers, proposals, deliverables, and other documentation. *Required Experience & Skills* • 5-7 years of J2EE Application Server administration experience in a large production environment, 3-5 in a WebLogic shop. • Ability to work night and weekend shifts as needed. • Ability to exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution. • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause-analysis skills. • Excellent working knowledge of UNIX server technologies, including RHEL. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to mentor other team members in areas of technical expertise. • Strong Working knowledge of o Database technologies, preferably Oracle. o Local and Wide area networking technologies. o Storage technologies including SAN. *Desired Experience & Skills* • Experience with ADF Runtime 11.1.x, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g/12c, LDAP services, SAP Business Objects Administration, F5 Load Balancers, VMWare and Windows Server technologies or equivalents. • Experience installing and administering Commercial Off The Shelf tools packages such as CA Service Desk, IBM Rational ClearQuest, and SharePoint. • 3-5 years of experience working in an outsourced/managed services environment. • Familiarity with SDLC and/or other systems development methodologies. • Experience developing project plans and work breakdown structures. *--------* *Thanks,* *Bhanu Pratap Singh* *Source InfoTech Inc.* W: *646-688-4913*| F: 732-909-2282| Email: *[email protected]* <[email protected]> | Website: *www.sourceinfotech.com* <http://www.sourceinfotech.com/> | -- -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
