*NOTE:* We need someone that has been part of a team *to build an
enterprise framework from the ground up.*
*Roles and responsibilities:*
In this role, you will work on defining relevant parts of the architecture,
designing components and sub-systems, as well as assessing standards and
technologies through experimentation/prototyping for integration in the
framework. The role will also include hands-on implementation, coding,
testing, deployment and maintenance of the framework.
The team will work closely with the internal users (including Project
Managers, Engineers and Translators) to establish and prioritize the
product definition requirements. The development will happen in an agile
and iterative mode, so scoping and planning will be an ongoing part of the
job.
Creating and maintaining relevant application design/implementation
documentation, as well as providing technical support and guidance to the
end users in the localization team and partner teams, will of course be a
very important part of the responsibilities as well.
*Skill set:*
• BS in CS or related field;
• 8+ years of relevant full lifecycle development experience, including in
small teams;
• 5+ years experience in designing and building
*web applications and Web Services (RESTful/SOA), incorporating modern
technologies and frameworks *• Highly skilled in Java, extensive
experience with other languages, like *NodeJS, Scala, etc.,* a plus
• Experience with developing applications and frameworks, with a focus on
system interoperability;
• Experienced in agile development and *data modeling, RMDBS/SQL (Oracle),
object oriented* methodologies, and basics of user interface development;
• Prior exposure to localization environment a definite advantage, desire
to gain an in-depth understanding of eBay’s localization process a must;
• Knowledge of and prior experience *working on CMS interfaces, content
processing* or localization integration projects highly desirable;
• Experience with relevant systems such as
*SDL WorldServer, Drupal, InQuira, or similar is highly desirable; *•
Proven track record of achieving results, with a strong delivery focus;
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
• Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity;
• Self-starter, fast learner, able to assess and absorb new technologies

center networking engagements.
• Collaborate with our growing team to identify, develop and maintain such
networking solutions for a globally diverse customer base.
• Efficiently work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Work as part of a geographically dispersed team.
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems.
• Build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems
and compatibility issues.
• Generate project documentation including detailed test and configuration
plans.
*Skill set:*
• BS, CS, or equivalent, 3+ years progressive experience in network
engineering or telecommunications environment.
• Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network

o IP internetworking and LAN Switching.
o WAN circuits and protocols (Ethernet, MPLS, DWDM, SONET).
o Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, PIM Multicast).
o Current Cisco hardware and operating systems (Specifically Nexus
Switching)
§ Strong knowledge of *Nexus Switching Features such as vPC Fabric Path*
o Virtualization technologies,
*both networking (VRF, VDC, Nexus1kv) and compute (VMware, OpenStack) *
*Preferred but not required*
• CCIE or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of OpenStack, architecture and concepts (Keystone, Glance,
Nova, Neutron, Horizon,etc.)
• Experience with Behavior Driven (BDD) and Test Driven (TDD) development
techniques preferred.
• Experience using MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of data center management, systems management, and monitoring,
networking & security
• Professional services experience in an open source/enterprise software
