*Job Objective*
Provide excellent service and quality solutions in the design, development,
and enhancement of business intelligence user interfaces built in Tableau.
*Duties & Tasks*
1. Work with the Business Intelligence team members to design, develop, and
implement business intelligence applications while insuring high levels of
quality and flexibility.
2. Create Mock-Ups of visualizations and work with business users to refine
mock-ups to capture business requirements
3. Work with the Business Analysis and/or Product Management staff to help
refine their requirements and deliver results.
4. Work with the Database team and or development partners to ensure that
Tableau visualizations work correctly with underlying data structures to
meet the application requirements.
*Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
3 to 5 years of experience developing in Tableau
Strong MS-SQL skills are required
Strong team working skills, an analytical nature, life-long learning and
excellent written and oral communications skills are requirements for this
position
Strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP,
familiarity with the Kimball Methodology highly desirable
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems with beta and new release
software, and research possible solutions using the internet and other
available resources
Experience with data analysis and data modeling; data warehouse experience
a plus
Web programming experience, including HTML, XML, JavaScript is highly
desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite including Word and Excel
Experience developing in multiple BI Tools is a plus (IBM Cognos, SAP
Business Objects, Information Builders, etc.)
