*Job Description:*
*Developer III Specialized performs high complexity (i.e. system level
applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software
applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate
also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles. *
· Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
• BA/BS in Computer Sciences or Arts or related field, or equivalent
qualification, with 6-8 years of IT experience
• Design & Development of portal based applications
• 5+ years of hand on experience in web front end application
development
• 5+ years of experience in following specific areas:
o Portal development experience
o CSS
o HTML and/or HTML5
o Performance Tuning
o JavaScript
o JQuery
o LifeRay portal integration experience is a plus
• Knowledge of financial industry an asset
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to actively participate and contribute to design, planning
and execution
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi task and adapt to changing priorities and demands
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and prioritize work, and
work effectively under time and volume pressures to meet specific deadlines.
