Description:
Able to co-ordinate installation, configuration of Linux Operating
system with Hardware vendors.
Sound Knowledge in Linux Operating system, services & utilities like
NFS, Samba, and NTP etc.
Able to handle most of basic to advance in User, group management,
system start-up, service modification, crontab entries, ACL modifications.
File system management using LVM.
Knowledge of FS & OS backups using Linux inbuilt commands and backup
tools
Working Knowledge of Linux cluster.
Working knowledge of Raid’s is mandatory (RAID0, RAID1, and RAID5).
Knowledge on UNIX shells scripting
Good process knowledge in incident/problem/change management of ITIL
processes
Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are
regularly updated.
Experience on Server Performance Analysis & Capacity Management
Knowledge on Server & backup proactive monitoring tools
Troubleshooting and configuration experience in SAN devices
connectivity to RHEL OS
Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken
and written communication skills, team working skills
