*Required Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Must have 3+ years’ experience doing hands-on development using the
following technologies:
- Java, J2EE
- Web frameworks (JSF, Struts, or similar frameworks)
- Good working knowledge with Client Side Technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
- Proven object-oriented design and implementation skills.
- Good knowledge of and experience with user interface design patterns,
visual design elements, web technologies, and development methodologies.
- Excel at multitasking and be flexible to adapt to any given situation.
- Exceptional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for working closely with other developers and business
teams to understand and address root cause of defects
- Experience using automated unit testing technologies (JUNIT, HTTPUnit,
Selenium) is a plus
- Experience with Kanban methodology a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all
levels of the organization
- Experience using configuration control and defect tracking tools
(Subversion & Quality Center, VersionOne).
- Java Engineer with experience in the field of performance oriented
Java/J2EE development in both classic and/or agile methodologies.
- Overall use of best practice tools, build tools and scripting.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Knowledge of and/or experience in the following technologies:
Java 7, J2EE (EJB, JNDI, JSP, Servlets, RMI), Web Frameworks (JSF), Unit
testing(TestNG, Mockito), PL/SQL / JDBC, Apache and Apache Tomcat web
servers, UNIX (RHEL, etc), JBOSS, IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA,
EMACS, VIM), HTML, DHTML, XSLT, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Web Services,
Clover, Jalopy, PMD, Checkstyle, Shell Scripting, Perl.
