o Regression Models
o CART, Random forest, GBM
o Survival Modeling
o Clustering
o GMM
- Model Evaluation methods
- Data visualization techniques
*Soft Skills:*
- Ability to lead technical team of 3-10 people (10-15% of the
time)
- Must be a do-er (ability to write complex code, understand and
tune algorithms, tune models, interpret results, experimental design etc)
- Business interfacing skills
*Education:*
- Graduate level Analytics program from a top program preceded by
a strong Engineering/Math/Computer Science background from an
internationally reputed program
- Ability to grasp new mathematical concepts
*Nice to haves:*
- Hadoop
- Revolution R
- Text Analytics
- Network Analytics
- Forecasting (ARIMA etc)
- Linear Programming
- Simulation (Crystal Ball, Solver etc)
