*Job Description:*Expertise in creating reports using MicroStrategy 9.4.1
product suites including MicroStrategy Architect, MicroStrategy Desktop &
MicroStrategy Web.
Expert in Architecture like creating Schema objects with MicroStrategy
Desktop like Logical Views, simple and compound Facts and Attributes.
Extensively worked in creating and integrating MicroStrategy Reports and
objects (Attributes, Filters, Metrics, Facts, and Prompts) with the data
warehouse.
Expertise in creating complex reports like Drill Down and Sub Reports and
implementing Conditional Formatting, Interactive Sorting, Grouping and
Filtering.
Adept in Dash Boarding and Documents, worked extensively on panel stacks,
widgets, and customized the web.
Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL and ability to write SQL queries
Excellent experience with Cognos BI Series 10.x, 8.x (Report Studio, Query
studio, Analysis Studio ,Framework Manager, Transformer, Cognos Connection).
Experience in Framework Manager 10.x, 8.x Modeling –Importing tables and
implementing layers, creation of Relational, OLAP and Dimensionally Modeled
Relational (DMR) Packages.
Excellent experience in designing, creation, maintenance and tuning of OLAP
Cubes using Cognos Transformer 7.x, 8.x, 10.1.
Experience in design and creation of Dashboards and Scorecards.
Extensively worked on performance tuning of reports and Dashboards.
Developed complex reports using report studio with master detail
relationships, Conditional Block Lists, Tabular sets, Cascading prompts etc.
Should have good communication skills
Should have ability to develop design and code, completing programming and
documentation, and performing testing for complex application.
Should be able to take complete ownership to drive his own deliverables and
the teams deliverables on time and with quality.
Should have understanding of best practices.
Should be able to work in demanding customer environment and work with
large teams in global delivery model.
