*QA Test Lead - Mutual Fund*
*Minneapolis, MN*
*1 Year contract*
*MUST have mutual funds/wealth management experience.*
*Seeking 8-10 years of applicable experience. *
MUST have proven UAT testing experience (includes planning, writing,
execution, defect tracking, tracing) on cross-organizational efforts. MUST
have the ability to work efficiently in a face paced environment. MUST have
knowledge and experience of the full life cycle of a project. MUST have
mutual funds/wealth management experience.
*Additional details:*
• Establish and manage formal QA processes following industry accepted best
practices
• Create and manage test schedule
• Review and manage resource planning
• Create and manage test data
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance testing including establishing
metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes as
necessary
• Schedule and conduct periodic testing status meetings
• Act as primary point of contact for all testing aspects of the project,
providing testing services and coordinating testing resources (internally
and externally)
• Have knowledge of full system life cycle and structured testing
methodology
• Identify test requirements from specifications for processes and systems
• Create test design specification for each testing cycle or iteration
• Develop, document, and maintain test cases and scripts
• Set-up test data for testing execution
• Validate test environment and data set-up
• Execute and validate test cases and test scripts
• Test functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility
with other systems
• Document testing defects and issues
• Manage testing issues and statuses through fix, retest, pass/fail
• Produce and store test execution results
• Provide periodic testing status and/or testing summary report
•Working knowledge with the following applications: Expert with Microsoft
Excel HP Quality Center Responsibilities: Enhance SPS Advisor product
making it more appealing to affluent clients. The need on this project is
for a strong UAT Test Lead that can plan a complex, cross-organizational
testing effort. In addition to proven test leadership and test execution
skills, the ideal candidate would also have the following subject matter
skills:
• AFI Managed Products knowledge
• TR Beta order entry and trading
• TR Beta SURF/REST/MAGI/EGLS
• TR Beta POUT
• AFI Fee & Disbursement Engine
• Mutual Fund share class conversion processing and validation
• TR Wealth Management tools (Proposal Generator, Model Management, MRT,
Product Catalog)
