• Very strong programming skills with at least 5 years of
Object Oriented Programming, and at least 3 years of programming experience
with Python
• Must have hands on experience with GIT source control system.
• Must have Pecan web framework experience or equivalent
experience with other web frameworks such as DJango or Flask
• Must have experience with Linux as a programming
environment, shell scripts, apache2, and shell commands; also must have
experience installing packages with aptitude and pip.
• Must have experience writing unit test in Python, using
frameworks such as pytest, unittest, nose or similar
• Experience with a message queuing framework experience with
RabbitMQ or similar
• Must have experience developing RESTful APIs, full command
of HTTP protocol (verbs, return codes, etc. as used in RESTful APIs).
• Must have experience with JSON and XML formats.
• Must have experience with Cryptography algorithms, hash
generation, symmetric and asymmetric key generation and usage
• Must have Experience developing applications consuming data
from NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, Couchbase, Cassandra)
• Must have Experience with Celery framework
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
