*Job / Role Description: *
As a *visualization front end engineer* you will architect and implement
system features and frameworks using advanced JavaScript, JavaScript
frameworks, AJAX / REST API, HTML, and CSS. The Visualization front end
engineer needs to think as both an analyst and strategic storyteller, not
only a creator of engaging visuals. This role will interact and consult
with the business to recommend and implement data visualizations and
optimizing the user experience.
*Roles and Responsibilities:*
· Implement the front-end technical design and development of
enterprise-class web applications.
· Write robust front-end code with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
frameworks and libraries.
· Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, including
graphs, charts, and other dynamic features.
· Design and implement user authentication and security features.
· Collaborate with business analysts and back-end developers to
define functional requirements and translate them into technical
requirements.
· Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts to
meet the user requirements.
· Work with technology partners and vendors as required.
· Maintain a delivery-orientated approach to developing the
reports and their supporting tools & data infrastructure.
· Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs.
· Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other team
members.
· Partner with our analytics, technology, and design and user
experience team to create both client and consumer facing data
visualizations employing combinations of data from multiple data sources.
· Work with cross-functional teams made of Architects, Technology
leads along with Testing/Support teams to deliver the end product.
· Coordinating information exchange, understanding business
problems, analyzing data, and defining system and business process
requirements.
· Ensure successful project delivery with strict adherence to
reporting and data practices and the production of all necessary
documentation.
· Open learner for other tools under Reporting & Data
visualization practice team.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
*Requirement 2:*
*Position: Data modeler* with hands on skills with *Teradata FSDM & Data
modeling*.
*Location: Buffalo NY*
*Duration: Long term contract*
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing
• 5+ years of experience in Data warehousing Modeling
• 3+ years of experience in Banking/Financial Services
• 2+ years of experience in FSDM mapping
• Developing and implementing Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), and Data
Marts (DM)
• Developing and maintaining enterprise-wide Logical data models
• Excellent personal communication, and organizational skills
• Mentoring experience
*Nice to have Skills:*
• Teradata experience
• Erwin experience
• Experience in Executive Information Systems (EIS) including
dash-boarding, and Operational Data Stores (ODS)
• Physical Data Modeling experience
• Leadership skills
