Job Description:



Besides this, the candidate should have earlier experience in configuration
and setting up Service-now ITSM application and administer, maintain and
support the implementation. This person will work very closely with ITSM
Architect, customer personnel, IT Architect, IT support teams and other
technical teams to ensure that business needs around implementation of ITSM
processes and ServiceNow (Service-now.com) in a controlled and predictive
manner.

The general scope of the work for this position is as follows:

• Understands technical and functional design requirements for ServiceNow

• Understands the workflow engines

• Creates workflow and web prototypes for client engagements

• Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions for ServiceNow
implementations

• Uses Mid server, webservices, email and other relevant technology to
integrate tools with ServiceNow.

• Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions

• Earlier experience in maintaining and administering the implemented
instance of ServiceNow and perform tasks such as:

Configure Users, company, site, location and other existing fields

Configure Support Groups, assignment rules, categorizations, CI data, SLA
etc

Create and Track support cases with ServiceNow

Template creation, change order/task/activity

Troubleshooting the ServiceNow instance issues

• Assists in enforcement of development deadlines and schedules

• Understands the necessity of and contributes to coding standards

• Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.

• Contributes appropriately to conversations.

• Commitment driven

• Assumes additional responsibility without being asked.

• Encourages fellow team members to make innovative contributions and
embrace new ideas.

Qualifications

1.  IT or Web programming related educational background

2. The candidate should be trained in ITILv3 foundation certified

3. Service-now trained with prior experience in at least 1
deployment/administration of ServiceNow implementation.

4. At least 3-5 years of IT experience in development/support/analyst
positions in Service Management tools such as BMC Remedy, HP SM, BMC Remedy
on Demand

5. Experience with JavaScript, XML and XSL stylesheets

6. Able to Read and understands XML schemas

7. Understanding of Software as a Service  (SaaS)

8. Understanding of client server architecture

9. Understanding of SOA and Web Services concepts

10. Should have prior experience in integrating tools in ServiceNow or
other similar tools using MidServer, webservices, email etc..

•         Reporting Knowledge in ServiceNow is must.

•         Defines and documents customer business functions and processes.

•         Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system
functionality.

•         Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new
systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design
fits the needs of the users.

Minimum Experience Required: 5-8 YEARS Mandatory Skills: ServiceNow - SaaS
TIS Technical Support, Infra Tools Customization and Deployment, Tools
Support, BSM Admin Desirable Skills: Core Java, JavaScript Language Skills:
English Language
