*Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)* *MOI: Phone/Skype* *I have 3 automated tester positions open. These positions are located in New York, New York. We are looking for someone who has experience in the HealthCare field* Requirement: Functional Tester Role description: • Work with Project Managers and QA / Testing Managers to design and develop test cases to support ICD-10 testing • Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases • Execute test cases to validate ICD-10 functionality for remediated applications, document test results • Document identified defects and follow-up with development team / vendors to track defect to resolution; retest the fixed defects and document test results • Work with appropriate business and technology leads to review results and workaround for defects Minimum Qualifications • Strong communication skills, written and verbal • At least 5 years or work experience with testing including creation of test cases, data definition and test case execution • At least 1 year of experience with testing in a healthcare provider environment • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Knowledge of testing methodology, test documentation procedures, and defect management life cycle • Experience with testing application within at least one of the following 5 areas required 1. Patient Access Services 2. Clinical – Core EMR 3. Clinical – Ancillary Services 4.HIM / Coding 5.
