Please let me know if you have anyone for this role. *Senior Web – C# .NET Developer* *Location:: Chicago, IL* *MOI:: T + F* *Rate:: $55-60 /hr on c2c* *Duration:: 6+ months* *Start: ASAP* *Technical Skills/Must have* - Demonstrable Senior Developer/Architect - Excellent communication skills and client facing experience - *8+ years of C#.NET experience and MVC 4 or 5* - Solid understanding of Razor views: *Templates, Partial Views and HTML Helpers* - *Formal Agile/Scrum SDLC methodology* - *HTML, CSS (Style Sheet) knowledge very nice to have should have solid understanding of Design* *Duties and Responsibilities* - The C# .NET Developer will be responsible for driving the building go the new webs site from ASP.NET to C# .NET. - The C# .NET Developer will be the site owner for this project, driving the new development in an iterative environment they will roll out new parts of the web site as they are developed - Will be responsible for creating the framework and working with the Architects and developers who have created the original site in ASP.NET - High complexity assignments – owner - Moderate complexity assignments – owner - Low complexity assignments - provide oversight/review - Regularly leads self and others and/or established as SME and/or established as specialist *Education and Training* - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent work experience - No certification required, although encouraged and supported if desired - 4-year college degree in relevant field of study or relevant work experience *Personal Attributes* · Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities · Strong written and verbal skills and experience working directly with large high value clients · Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment *Overview* The Senior C# .NET Developer (develop custom application code to accommodate specific business requirements or collaborate with others. Our client is retiring an old system that was written in ASP.NET and creating the new site in C# .NET, MVC. The Senior C#. Net Developer will be working with the current developers to help implement the new technologies C#, .NET, MVC. A senior solution developer would also be responsible for new development, ongoing optimization working closely with teams who are utilizing the solution. The Senior C# .NET Developer will be responsible for documenting so that less experienced developers or others across the team and ensure that proper unit testing and code reviews are conducted across the solution.
