*Job Title : Backup and Restore Engineer* Location : Georgia-Atlanta Duration :12 months Scope of Work: The Backup Administrator is primarily responsible for the management and direction of the backup and data protection function for the entire lifecycle and maintenance of the corporate backup infrastructure. Resources to include the Symantec Netbackup version 7.6, EMC Data Domain appliances, Oracle’s RMAN with DDBoost support for DBAs on Linux based platforms in a 24x7 operational support model. The majority of the clients will be RedHat Linux in two separate Data Centers. The Backup Administrator will work with the current and new upcoming backup infrastructure projects and Support department in meeting its goals and objectives. The Backups Administrator will work to achieve objectives and delivering meaningful quality backup environments. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in a similar sized organization with solid experience in managing / supporting enterprise backup infrastructures utilizing highly available configurations with specific emphasis on: EMC Data Domain Deduplication hardware , Unix, Linux, Window (Client installs), Oracle RMAN and DDBoost Clustering technologies, Symantec NetBackup version 6.x (7.5 or 7.6 preferred), Client Tape libraries (FC) SL Tape libraries (FC) * OST, Scripting experience (KSH, SH, PERL), Working knowledge of RedHat UNIX Thanks & regards Veena Nath Allied Informatics Inc.
