The role is to work in Internal Applications Development team and develop software applications. The ideal candidate should be an acknowledged developer who can design, code, review, and coordinate developed functionality with the business users. * Essential Functions:* - Development and implementation of best practices and standards related to the application development, security and system support activities. - Uses expertise in appropriate tools and techniques to code, test, and implement solutions in N-tier environment. - Create and update technical documentation, and able to provide end to end solutions. Work closely with Business and Technical Analysts to understand business perspective and functional requirements *Technical skills:* - 8+ years hands on core .NET development. Minimum 5 years’ experience working in US. - 5+ years hand on experience in web technologies (ASP.NET, HTML 4/5, Silverlight, AJAX) - 3+ years hands on experience in ASP.NET Silverlight 4 or 5. MVC knowledge a plus. - 3+ years hands on experience in Entity Framework code first, WCF, REST Web Services - 3+ years hands on experience in developing Windows Services. - 5+ years hands on experience in SQL Server 2008 and above.DML/DDL and Stored Procedures. - Experience with software development tools – VS2013, TFS, writing Unit Test cases(NUnit) *Other Skills, and Expertise:* - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field - Ability to work independently with minimum guidance in a fast paced environment - Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to take initiatives and solve problems - Knowledge of Data structures is mandatory - Knowledge of software development life cycle and industry practices - Effective documentation capabilities - Experience in Inversion of Control and Test Driven Development will be beneficial Financial industry knowledge is beneficial Please send me below information to submit your resume to client.
