Drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class
user experience.
· Compose long-term solutions but be mindful of current states and short
term requirements
· Be a champion for the user: insist on the highest standards, and create
functional and engaging features that delight customers.
· Use your communication skills and influence to ensure cross-functional
teams understand what’s important.
· Develop unique, compelling and exciting presentations and demonstrations
of new Bose technologies
· Document best practices and create development resources that can be used
by other developers
· Build reference architecture, frameworks and toolkits to drive scales of
adoption in the ecosystem
· Stay current on mobile applications techniques
· Some travel may be required
*Basic Qualifications*
*· 8+ years of software experience in technical roles*
· Strong mobile application development experience, specifically, expertise
in iOS, Android and/ or game development
· Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a
related technical field
*Preferred Qualifications*
· Be a leader of thought in the application space
·
*Hands on development experience and full understanding of mobile app
development pipeline and process including development of applications that
ionterface with hardware accessories *· Proven graphic user interface
development
· Cross platform experience - Android and iOS
· Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to
self-motivate and follow-through on projects
· Proven ability to give direction to a team either locally or with
contractors
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical
audiences
· Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design,
algorithms and data structures
