Duration: 12+ Month Contract *Visa Type:* Any Visa *Job Discription:* Qualifications/Requirements : v Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience (required); v Minimum of two (2) years in a senior, lead, or project implementation capacity; v Demonstrate understanding of project management processes by training others on project management tools and template usage; v Strong project management, problem solving, organizational, relationship, communication, and negotiation skills (oral and written); v Demonstrate success leading teams or collaborating with business partners and peer-level professionals from other IT specialties from UPMC, vendor, partner, and/or consulting organizations; v (Preferred) Domain expertise in networking, including routing and switching infrastructure migrations, network security, and telecommunications. *Description:* Our client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager who will be managing a complete network infrastructure rebuild/refresh project. PM will be working with primary stakeholders and vendors, as well as interfacing directly with PM peers in the Enterprise Management Office. Responsibilities of the PM shall include but are not limited to the following: • Strategy & Resource Management (planning and initiation) – The Project Manager, in support of “business sponsor”, is responsible for multiple projects. The Project Manager directs and monitors the work efforts on a daily basis, focusing on scope, budget, quality, schedule, risks, issues and resources needed to complete the work. The Project Manager is accountable to the business leadership team for project results, including budget, schedule, resources and risk/issue mitigation. The Project Manager serves as the escalation point for the set of projects managed; • Project Scope– Complexity of Work- Manages activities associated with multiple projects or part of a larger program. The formal selection process of projects managed by the EPMO is driven by executive leadership top initiatives with complexity ranging from medium to highly complex. • Project Execution – Responsible for detailed project plans containing resources, budget, schedule, milestones, deliverables, quality, risk/issues/mitigations for the set of projects managed. The Project Manager is responsible to see that all applicable processes and controls are in place for the set of projects managed, and communicates the status of the projects on a regular basis to the business and stakeholder teams. The Project Manager escalates issues as needed, identifies and resolves issues, and remediates the intra-project conflicts. • Relationship Management (internal, client, and supplier) – Liaise with internal- team directors/VPs/Executives; business – leadership for programs; vendors – leadership for issue resolution, opportunities, products, relationships and partnerships. • Leadership – Build, mentor, train, coach future leaders and project managers.
