Job Description
Python Consultant - Object Oriented Development
The ideal candidate will have done Python based coding at an advanced level
using object oriented design, instead of just basic Python scripting (we
already have python servers under Apache and classes linking RDBMS, Mongo
or HBase).
*Job Requirements*
Skills that are absolutely required are:
python unit testing,
python multiprocessing,
basic networking/parallel computing
ability to debug things/know where to look when parallel works fail
SQL (to write queries),
strong Linux experience
very strong Git (you need to be able to hit the ground running with
this).
* Nice to haves:*
Experience with leveraging mod_python to run Python applications on
Apache.
RDBMS
MongoDB
HBase
