Java Development An ideal candidate will also have some experience interfacing 
and serving up web elements from a Java Platform. 
DoJo.js This library is integrated within the existing system. The adoption of 
HTML5 / CSS3 has made much of what DoJo offered unnecessary. This is being 
phased out of the project.
JQuery.js / D3.js JQuery may still be used for JSON / Ajax requests and D3 
could be of value for rendering tabular data. 
karma-jasmine JavaScript and json based testing framework for front end 
development.
GIS Knowledge of and working with Geospatial data (ESRI, OGC, etc…)

Objective Summary: 
Create a Version 2 of a spatial data application built with ESRI.
This application will replace 2 existing applications(“Harvest†a text based 
reporting tool) and (“SRT†an ESRI based reporting tool).

Details:
This group sits in between Research and Development and a full commercial 
launch of a product. This team works internally to finish field trials, report 
on performance, with the goal of fully launching the product with marketing and 
sales.

Initially this group will be responsible for the enhancing and supporting a 
single application that captures and displays several layers of geospatial 
data. Phase one will be focused on enhancements and new development. It is 
understood that the team will be responsible for enhancing the existing 
application and migrating it from a DoJo/ESRI framework to an Angular/ESRI 
framework. They have some short term goals including having Non-Spatial, 
Reporting, and some usability defined. 

Once phase one is complete the focus will turn to supporting the latest 
released version. Ideally once the team’s steady state velocity has been 
established long term goals will be set for this and or future projects. 

Technology Summary: 
Angular.js responsive web application that will use JSON services for data.
I/UX resource will help define vision and the look and feel
Web developers will build front end application from the ground up
Java Spring application that will provide JSON services for Angular front end 
project.
Java resource will build reports and process ESRI data for the front end to use.
