Please let me know if you are interested. *Job Title: Sr. Java Engineer (2 Position) * *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: 6 months with 6 months extensions* *Interview: Phone Interviews* *Start: ASAP* *No H1B Please……* As an engineer on this project you will have the opportunity to work on an enterprise-class high-throughput service that needs to be supported cross-platform for Java, .NET, and other clients and that will have direct bottom line impact to our business customers, extracting the most from the information we have. We are leveraging message handling technologies to create an engine to drive business oriented results. This is your chance to get in at the beginning of a massive effort to route http messages through a sophisticated engine being built from scratch in order to optimize business results. You will work on backend service calls to the engine, pushing out information to RESTful endpoints. We are adding a ton of functionality to our API and at the same time are onboarding business teams – customizing the system for their needs. Since we have a mixed Java and .NET environment, you must be willing to accept that we have a mixed environment and be willing to work in that mixed environment. It is expected you will have a background primarily in one of the environments but you will gain exposure to both in this team. Requirements: • *Strong Java 1.8 with Spring experience.* • Thorough understanding of threading libraries for *Java 1.8 * • Solid understanding of design patterns. • Thorough understanding of *SOA principles.* • Experience building production REST and SOAP based services. • Highly self-motivated engineer with strong shrink-wrapped product engineering experience, ideally in a SaaS environment. • Exceptionally capable of dealing with ambiguity and focusing on executing. • Thoroughly understands the concept of highly iterative development, using “scaffolding” to fill in for things that will come later. • Willing to accept direction and deliver what is asked, even if the design does not meet your personal preference. • Able to patiently work with end users (developers) learning to use the solution you develop. • Experience building highly scalable, clustered solutions for large organization where high volume throughput is an automatic function. • Experience with AWS is a strong advantage • Ability to develop high-quality code under high pressure in a very short delivery cycle. Nice to haves: • Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns. • JMS and/or AMQP experience. • Experience building and deploying to Amazon Web Services. • Experience building production solutions with Hazelcast • Knowledge of .NET 4.5 C# • Security experience. • Red Hat Linux skills. • Experience building Web sites in Spring, with solid HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
