Seeking Hadoop Developers that will be placed in scrum teams to focus on
building and enhancing their Hadoop file system. Currently they only have
Hadoop in place for all POC, but the client wants it to handle click stream
data for a website with over 30g of data per day. They are wanting to bring
on resources immediately to get them up to speed on their processes, before
the large Hadoop projects begin! Below is full JD.
• A self-motivated data developer with an endless appetite to learn and
develop with a range of leading data development and analytical tools, such
as Hadoop, Oracle Exadata and SAS. To be successful in this role you’ll
have work experience in developing, troubleshooting, optimizing and tuning
data development or ETL processes, specifically in the Oracle or Hadoop
space. You’ll also have a solid foundational knowledge of Data Warehouse
concepts and expertise in developing scalable, efficient, and reliable
solutions. We’re looking for a candidate who has a passion for data and
innovative ways to use it!
