Under general supervision, but following established policies and
procedures, is responsible for the installation, configuration,
administration, optimization, and monitoring of company servers and related
components to achieve high performance of the various business applications
supported by tuning the servers as necessary.
The candidate will possess a working understanding of Microsoft Server and
VMware Virtualization technologies. Candidate will be responsible for daily
administrative duties involved in supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and
tuning a server farm composed of physical and virtual infrastructure
components, including VMWare ESX Host, vCenter, and Windows virtual
machines.
