*Java developer will -*
Manage the systems development life cycle for operational software
solutions for the value-chain operational areas at CLIENT LAG. Performing
activities such as:
1. Interfacing with the user(s) and sponsor(s) and all other
stakeholders in order to determine their (evolving) needs.
2. Generating the highest level of system requirements, based on the
user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule.
3. Ensuring that this set of high level requirements is consistent,
complete, correct, and operationally defined.
4. Performing cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements
are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; make maximum use
of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
5. Generating a set of acceptance test requirements, together with
the designers, test engineers, and the user, which determine that all of
the high level requirements have been met, especially for the
computer-human-interface.
6. Generating products such as sketches, models, an early user guide,
and prototypes to keep the user and the engineers constantly up
to date and
in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving.

*Minimum Requirements*
*1. Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or
equivalent.*
*2. 4+ years’ experience in developing and implementing Business
Information Systems.*
*3. Strong Server-side Java development experience using JEE *
4. Some experience with .NET and C#
5. Rich Internet Applications design/development experience (Flex,
Web Services, Three-Tier Architecture, Messaging Protocols)
6. Solid knowledge rich internet application development frameworks
7. Expertise in software documentation methodologies
8. Experience with Agile or other development methodologies
9. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
10. Strong customer focus and business value judgment
11. Strong bias for action and “get it done” attitude
12. Strong analytical skills
