Salesforce UX Designer/Developer The User Experience Design team is
responsible for designing Fidelity Investments’ award-winning websites,
mobile applications and internal workstations. Our 200+ person team of
elite user experience professionals works collaboratively with business and
technology teams to design and deliver online experiences that enable our
customers’ financial success. We are currently looking for a contract
Experience Designer/Developer to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial
culture.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a great customer experience and guide a cross-functional team
toward a standard of excellence
• Serve as the client’s primary point of contact with the overall user
experience design process
• Ensure that the team's design efforts are in sync with the client's
business goals, expectations and budget
• Develop and/or participate in the development of user journeys
• Work closely with our usability team to test and refine designs and
prototypes
• Promote Salesforce best practices and implementation standards that drive
maintainability and reuse
• 25% travel required (Westlake) Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Interactive Design,
Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors or
equivalent work experience
• Experience designing highly transactional websites or web-based
applications
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
• Expertise writing semantic, modular front-end code using HTML5, CSS3,
and W3C coding practices
• Expertise with scalable JavaScript techniques and patterns
• Experience developing Salesforce applications using Apex and VisualForce
Skills and Knowledge:
• Creativity, imagination and a sense of humor
• Experience with agile development process
• Ability to understand user needs, motivations and behaviors and translate
them into compelling product design
• Strong knowledge of interaction design methodology
• Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the
ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience with participatory design (e.g. Design Thinking) a plus
