WebLogic Admin
Location: Union NJ
Duration : 12 months
Our client, based out of Union, NJ is in need of a WebLogic
Admin for a 12 month contract. The WebLogic Administrator will be
responsible for monitoring and maintaining all corporate owned web sites.
The WebLogic Admin will be responsible for website deployment and support
and configuration of the WebLogic Server. Projects include, PCI related
projects/upgrade, non-commerce applications/servers, F5 Dataloads,
EAR/WARs, and static assets and data packets to lower environments.
Managing code deployments to production, and scripting to automate tasks
for deployment. The Web Administrator will also be responsible for basic
server metric reporting and web analytics, capacity planning, building new
Windows/RedHat servers, technical writing, and code pushes via R1. As
well, the Web Administrator will quality assure the latest security
hotfixes, renew certificates and domain names.
The technology environment consists of Akamai, ATG Commerce, RedHat,
Microsoft Windows 2003/8, IIS 6/7, Oracle 10G on Sun, Endeca, R1
replication, VMware, TeaLeaf, WebLogic and F5 load balancing and caching.
Required Skills:
• 5 to 7 years overall experience
• 2 to 3 Years of WebLogic administration and configuration
experience
• Must be well versed in Oracle Virtualization Software, Exalogic
or ExaData
• Heavy Linux, specifically RedHat background
• Scripting/Automation experience (any scripting language
acceptable)
• Excellent communication, both verbal, written, and grammar
• ATG Commerce
Desired Skills:
• Automated deployments
• Troubleshooting both communication and network related issues
• F5 Load Balance experience
• The more experience with the following; Akamai, Windows,
IIS 6/7, Oracle 10G on Sun, Endeca, R1 replication, VMware, TeaLeaf
