*Commonwealth of MA* *Boston, MA * *6+ month contract * *Face to Face Interview Required * Main responsibilities include: Design and development of test plans including creating and documenting test scenarios, test cases and test scripts Develop and implement test methodologies to ensure repeatable test approaches Creation and documentation of automated test scripts using IBM Rational Functional Tester, IBM Rational Performance Tester or similar tools. Gather & analyze test requirements based on business scenarios Test case execution in a .NET and Java web server based environment, including testing of REST APIs and web services Identify test data requirements for test cases and manage test data Execute test cases and report defects with industry standard test lifecycle tools, such as IBM Rational Team Concert Liaise with development teams for issue/ defect resolution; actively participate in defect triage meetings Technology based integration, systems and regression testing Requirements: BS in Computer Science, EE, or related field (or equivalent) 5+ years of related industry experience; testing certifications a plus Knowledge of automation testing tools a requirement.
