Operations support for development tools
His group provides level 2 and 3 support and is *RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
MAINTENANCE OF ATLASSIAN TOOLS PRIMARILY CONFLUENCE, JIRA, BAMBOO,
SOURCETREE ETC*.
JIRA has 40K users. The underlying data size etc. are enormous. His
team is *RESPONSIBLE
FOR ACTIVITIES LIKE MIGRATING THE TOOLS FROM ONE VERSION TO ANOTHER OR
MIGRATE BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTS OR TROUBLESHOOT* issues that the support team
cannot help with.
They will need someone with *SYSADMIN EXPERIENCE* in the above tools
(Confluence is their biggest ask) and also ability to script maintenance
tasks associated with these tools.
Responsible for building a Continuous Integration framework for the Predix
development team
His group will provide the framework/libraries/scripts that will be
leveraged by the Predix development team for their CI.
*He needs resources with sysadmin (setting up, managing etc.) experience in
- Jenkins, any virtualization/containerization software like Docker; and
good scripting experience in either python, Ruby or Java.*
Long term need – He is building a tool that replaces Jenkins. He needs good
java engineers that can help him build such a tool.
