Technology or Business Systems related discipline
· Experience in information systems applications, commercial
logistics, web, CRM and/or BI reporting systems, preferably in regulated
medical device industry.
· Experience in business and systems analysis, understanding user
requirements and implementing systems to meet the requirements.
· Technical and/or functional analytical skills
· Strong communications skills both orally and written.
· Ability to write reports, procedure manuals and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
· Experience in managing projects, following project management
methodologies and supervising project team staff, including consultants.
· Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.
*Roles & Responsibilities*
Senior Business Analyst (Commercial Business) – primarily in the space
utilizing technology that covers the commercial business (ie Sales,
Marketing, Commercial Logistics) and spans the organizational boundary with
end customers. Typical technologies include commercial logistics and sales
tools, digital (web) technologies, medical education & CRM. The role is
responsible for surfacing and clarifying potential IT solutions for
business problems. This includes initiation phase leadership of small
enhancements to large projects with a focus on business case development
followed by technical and process analysis, systems design and testing
support throughout the project. Additional responsibilities may include the
development of process and systems inventories for the appropriate business
functions, resolution of issues with existing systems, and the development
of business process understanding and change expertise.
