Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Position :- Infrastructure Architect Location :- Nashville, TN Duration :- 12 months The Infrastructure Architect will: • Provide technical expertise in developing solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and ensure proper protection for the State and its information technology assets. These solutions must be in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and procedures. • Research, plan, and develop all design documentation related to projects as assigned. Projects may be related to new applications, system migrations, and disaster recovery. • Create detailed infrastructure architecture design based on the requirements gathered from stakeholder meetings • Have experience performing enterprise solution evaluations, documenting current and future states as well as performing gap analysis. • Have 5+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment. • Have working knowledge of Networking (firewalls, NAT, DNS, TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, load balancers), Servers (virtual & physical), SANs (including replication), Enterprise backup solutions, Relational database solutions, Security (network, server, application), Disaster Recovery solutions, Design, support, and/or implementation of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, BI, etc., System migrations and upgrades, • Be proficient in using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Microsoft Visio, and enterprise collaboration tools. • Create and maintain high level architectural diagrams for various uses • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff. • Have demonstrated leadership and time management abilities • Be comfortable facilitating meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Willing to work flexible work hours as may be required from time to time.
