As a DBA you will help the project team accelerate project tasks and deliverables by applying your advanced knowledge of database administration to help the project work through issues and ensure processes follow best practices. You will partner with the project team and other stakeholders such as the database teams to perform your work. *This is NOT a standard database administration role – work will only be focused on efforts to design, test, and implement automated password reset processes within databases for a large volume of databases and accounts. * *An ideal candidate would have this experience across enterprise SQL and Oracle databases – however specialized candidates within either SQL or Oracle will be considered. * *Job Duties:* - Interact with stakeholders to understand their requirements and define/document solutions - Provide advisory services to the project team to educate the project team on best practices and to resolve technical issues - Collaborate with team members to implement and enforce standards and best practices - Develop scripts (T-SQL, PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) to automate existing or new local database password reset processes - Develop ideas and apply continuous improvement to achieve higher efficiency *Qualifications:* - *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with knowledge of database concepts* - *7+ years of DBA experience* - Experience in large enterprise database environments, as well as solution delivery methodologies gained through a combination of formal training and progressive work experience - Above average communications and problem solving skills.
