This position is based in San Antonio, TX any Visa Status This position will drive technical innovations for all SAP CPE applications through strategic planning on development technologies, maintaining high quality coding standards, and driving innovation by leveraging new SAP platforms. To be effective in this role the person will need to foster close collaboration with other technical competencies as well as our Service Providers. The position is accountable to understand and manage the SAP solutions implemented such that the solution is optimized and meets or exceeds the business requirements and SAP best practice. SAP Commodity Pricing Engine consultant with Sales and Distribution and Materials Management needed for a 10+ month project. Strong knowledge of commodity pricing engine design and configuration is required in an IS-Oil environment. Minimum 8 years experience in SD/MM with 3 full project lifecycles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide oversight and escalation support for all service provider platform and development operations. Ensure service provider maintains SAP platform and development procedure and technical documentation for all environments. * Provide guidance to projects and operations on appropriate use of the platform and development solutions. Lead platform and development strategy for SAP to ensure solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities. JOB REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree is required. * Master's degree is preferred. * SAP Certification is preferred. * Minimum seven (8) years SAP Development Implementation and Design. * Minimum of three (3) years' experience driving SAP Platform strategy for a large company running a global ERP solution. * Experience working on implementing and supporting a global ERP environment. * Experience working with SAP on developing a strategic plan for a global ERP environment. * Excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on a enterprise scale. * Expert level knowledge of SAP development functionality and implementation methodology. * Experience in designing and building ERP system integration solutions. * Strong analytical and technical communication skills. * Strong project management with ERP systems implementation knowledge & skills. * Demonstrated ability to define problem, collect data, establish requirement, and create workable solution and potential alternative. * Ability to actively listen and incorporate feedback to continuously improve.
