Company growth and expansion has led to the need for a contract functional
JDE Business Analyst-Finance for a project based role to last through at
least the end of the year. The position is based in the Anaheim, CA area. *The
main focus will be to work with end users to transition from existing ERP
system to JDEdwards 9.1. In addition, a key part of the role will be to
ensure that current state and future state requirements are well documented
and that the JDE system is properly configured to maximize the efficiency
and effectiveness of the company’s business processes.*
You will do this by working with SME’s and interviewing internal users to
understand and document user requirements, propose best business practice
preferred solutions, and support the implementing of identified process and
productivity enhancements to improve operational performance.
The JDE BA-Finance will also apply proven communication, analytical, and
problem-solving skills to support the functional areas and aid in the
system development process to ensure project deliverables are met and
exceeded.
*Requirements and Preferred Background/Experience*
- At least five years related work experience with JD Edwards including
experience with implementations and upgrades
*Desired Knowledge & Experience*
- *Extensive experience with core JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software
application modules that include the following: *
- *(Must Have) Finance & Accounting (AP, AR)*
- *(Nice to Have) Planning and Forecast Management, Inventory
Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement, Transportation
Management,
Quality, Item Master*
- Demonstrated knowledge of the JDE business process and operations.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis,
elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
- Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements
specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
