*Must-haves * *-10+ years of overall SAS experience * *-SAS Grid setup – SME level knowledge * *-SAS high level design experience and reviews for SAS components * *-Experience performing SAS code reviews * *-Bachelor’s degree * *Plusses * *-Experience working through a SAS upgrade * *Day-to-Day * *This position would be part of a predictive modeling program. This person will be acting as the SAS SME, working with the claims architecture team to analyze, identify, and resolve SAS scalability concerns. Providing recommendations of creating components in SAS. Making recommendations to help ease the burden of data access throughout the predictive modeling lifecycle. Knowing potential issues with the upgrade of SAS 9.3 to SAS 9.4 (they are moving away from JBOSS). Teaching the other developers SAS as a whole, so they will need to be able to perform the SAS development work themselves as well (will be performing SAS code reviews). Also good familiarity with SAS delivery (not on the data modeling or the administrative side).
