*Job Description*:
Our Client has a Portfolio of Applications written in Java that are
developed in an Agile Environment. The Risk Management Group works with
the Development and DevOps Teams to perform Analyses of Applications using
HP Fortify. They ideally need 2 Mid-Level Consultants with 6-7 year of
experience to help perform Application Vulnerability Assessment.
*Daily tasks Include:*
· Providing hands-on support evaluating and enforcing application
security in all phases of the software development life cycle
· Serving as a liaison between development teams and stakeholders to
understand and formulate complex security requirements
· Maintaining and enforcing application security best practices.
Supporting opportunities for process improvement and implementation efforts
· Perform third-party libraries security assessment and dependency
analysis
· Apply advanced knowledge of web application vulnerabilities to
review application source code to find its security vulnerabilities (CSRF,
XSS, SQL Injection, Privilege Escalation, etc.) and recommend remediation
· Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings,
outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
· Be proficient in static and dynamic vulnerability analysis and
penetration testing techniques
*Required Skills Include:*
· *HP Fortify*
· Zap Proxy
· Bug proxy
· OWASP
· SoapUI
*Well-Qualified Candidates Will Also Have the Following:*
· Application Security Assessment
· Application Security Fundamentals
· Effective Communications
· Security Testing Tools & Techniques
· Security Vulnerability & Penetration Testing
· Preferred certifications: Security+ or CISSP
